Ministry month wrap up

Last weekend we held a Missions Workshop. My home church came to conduct it . I was so proud of my mom who coordinated the whole thing.

We provided a light continental breakfast.

My mom and cousin before the workshop begin.

We had a combination of 20 people from the two churches. Which is a good number for two small churches.

My cousin Babs was one of the leaders. We broke up into two groups to discuss outreach within church and outreach outside of church.

My cousin Pat talked about how we sometimes fail at our mission and what we can do to change that.

Sunday WABC celebrated 77 years of existence. Next weekend Marc and I will celebrate 7 years at WABC.

As if I didn't have enough to keep me busy I added an additional Bible Study to my week. I'm attending BSF with some of my girlfriends. I'm not actually in class with any of them but we do get to see each other during the lecture portion. We are studying Revelation and I have got to say this study has opened my eyes to arts of the book that I never knew about. Its also challenging me to think about how God sees me and if I am doing everything I am suppose to be doing to fulfill my destiny in the world. Who knew The Book of Revelation would have that effect on me? Its been a very interesting journey. More to come so stay tuned!

Time Stands still for knowone!!

A few weeks ago Nicki and I had the opportunity to attend a play courtesy of a friend. Its been forever since I have been to an actual play!

This cutie pie came to visit a few days later.

Marc was busy during the month of October . For nearly three weeks straight he had speaking engagements at least once during that week.

That same week my friend who was recently ordained sent me this picture. Apparently my picture that I took of her the day of the Ordination was used in the local paper in my town. So I've officially had a photo published .Got to say it made me smile that day. LOL

We also attended a Missions Banquet that same weekend.

Between church, ministry and wedding planning our life has been busy. I am trying real hard in this season of life to not stress so much but its not always easy. As the years go by I find it harder and harder to stay focused. Guess its an age thing. LOL

One thing for sure....time stands still for no man and you have to make the best of your day while you can.
