Sweet Home Alabama

If you have followed my blog for any length of time you have seen us travel to Bama to visit our Goddaughter and her family. This past weekend we headed there to watch her graduate from high school! I am not even sure where the time went, but boy its hard to believe the little baby I use to watch is now a full grown young lady off to college and med school!!!

Crazy Busy Weekend

 This weekend was beyond busy (and I know I say that a lot, but it really was). We were on the run the entire weekend.

Starting with me attending a Rainbow Tea at my daughter's church. I was so proud of her. She truly has her mom's "hostess" skills down! She did such a great job with her table. Of course it was in her favorite color purple!!!

We left the tea party, only to go to my baby girls place to set up for the party honoring my son in law who is back from deployment!

Sunday after the morning service (and baptism) Marc and I headed to a banquet. He was on the program to do the prayer, and there was also a silent auction (so he had to buy something right? LOL). We were very impressed with their modern sanctuary (and let's just say we did a little wishing and dreaming as we left the building).

This coming weekend at the moment will be the lease busiest I have had in a while and I am frankly excited at the idea of slowing down a bit before the rest of the month picks back up!

Family Road Trip

I know I promised to upload on Saturdays and Wednesdays but the weekend have been extremely busy around these here parts (at least in my own personal life). I recently told some friends that if I ever write a book it will be called "My Life Is A Series of Events". Because honestly I am always at some event or the other (even when I am not planning them myself). LOL

The week after Easter my mom, my oldest daughter, my baby sister, hubby and I headed to MD for a quick overnight trip to see my niece get married. This was after an already busy week of classes and meetings at church. We had a great time though (granted our accommodations that weekend did not turn out so well). So although I am a week behind in my blogs (not to mention off my schedule) I thought I would still share some photos from the wedding. I will catch up on this pass weekends activities on Wednesday.
