 It’s been a long time since I did life through the eyes of a pastors wife! Just thought I would share a few photos from the last couple of weekends at church. 

We had about 27 woman at our first women's weekend event that we have had since Covid.

My 59th Birthday Part 1

I started my birthday morning with Mickey waffles and bacon. 

Followed by a visit from two of my cousins. 

Marc had an eye appointment this day but when we got back I found flowers on the front porch from a church family. And soon after that my Son in Love had cupcakes delivered to my door. It was a great start to my day! 

My soul sista Kelli from Georgia spoiled me with lunch from one of my favorite restaurants. 

Not to be outdone, hubby went out and came home with these beautiful roses and a bunch of my favorite snacks and candy. 

Just when I thought the day was over, my BFF dropped in with some more snacks and a Boba Drink. I truly got spoiled this day. But we are not done LOL 

I knew my BFF planned to take me out to celebrate with some friends at a Birthday brunch, but that morning she had balloons delivered to my house. But the surprises didn't end there. 

Had a great lunch with friends at one of my fav. Italian food spots. But like I said, the surprises under my friends sleeve was not over. 

She set up a surprise with our church members for more gifts and cards. 

Speaking of cards! I received this beautiful card from my cousin a few days before my birthday. I had such a magical birthday weekend. I still can't get over all of the things my family and friends did for me that day. I feel so blessed. But its not over. Stay tuned for Part 2. LOL And next month I will have uploaded birthday videos as well (I am presently on a hiatus from my YouTube content). 

Food Glorious Food

 It’s been one week since we figured out our oven still worked after not being able to use it for almost three years!! SMH . And every since then I have been cooking up a storm lol! I’m telling you that sometimes it really is the little things that can make you happy!! 

My Tabitha Brown Video has gone viral!

 

Nearly 500 views may not seem like a lot to some, but to me it’s just amazing lol. I did a video on my lifestyle channel with Marc and Nicki taste testing Tamara Browns newest launch for Target. Little did I know it would do so well. Keep in mine my channel on has like 23 subs (love all my family and friends who have supported me). So I thought at best I would maybe see around 24 or at the most 51 views. At the time of this blog post I have hit almost 500 views! I asked my daughter what is happening?? She said Auntie Tab (that’s what she calls her lol). Nicki actually got to see her in person in Tabithas home town last year thanks in part to her godparents who knew how much she loved her. Tabitha has even reposted some of Nicki’s video post about her on her Instagram. Anyway, long story short…even though I said I wasn’t going to post except maybe every two or three weeks I couldn’t let this day go by without acknowledging the Tab factor (at least that’s what I’m calling it lol).

Happy New Year

 

One thing I promised myself at the end of the year was that I would start to document me life again here on my blog. I have really missed doing this, but every time it I would start again something would happen and I would lose my passion to start back up again. The difference this year is that I have started a Lifestyle vlog so I would like to connect the two so here I am again. Hopefully some of my internet friends will check it out, but mostly I am doing this for myself because I miss being able t go back and see what I was up to. For the time being I think I will just do a bi-weekly wrap up (crossing fingers lol).

This photo was from Christmas and it was the best one we have had in a very long time (mostly because most of my family was together under one roof). We did actually spend the week after Christmas with my mom and you will get to see bits of it through my vlogs (which probably won't come out until February since I am trying to keep my videos in order). Starting over again!!

 

So much of our life has changed in the last few years since Marc’s stroke. Last week we visited my sister and her family on the beach and it dawned on me how long it had been since we took a photo together. Between health issues and covid we have pretty much been isolated from day to day living life to the fullest. It’s one of the reasons I found it so hard to blog anymore. But I have to admit I miss documenting our life ( even the boring parts lol). So I’m going to give it the old college try and start sharing again. Does anyone even still blog anymore?? It really doesn’t matter because mostly I’m doing this for myself so I can look back as I did in the past at what life was like over the years. Feel free to join me on this journey!!
