Well, so much for a refined and dignified Thanksgiving Day dinner. Of course that's kind of hard to pull off when you have a half cooked turkey, blue paper plates, and you bust out laughing before your pastor husband can even finish grace! And even though she didn't break out the scotch tape for a quick botox, Nicki decided to entertain us this year by trying on Mimi's wigs (of course this was while I was getting a fitting for my dress! You try standing still during one of Nick's episodes while your little sister is pinning you down with straight pins). And even though my nephew Alex was away with his dad, and TJ was back home sleeping after working all night....it was a pretty good day. Who can complain about spending time with family and having a little fun together.
