On this past Saturday Marcus received his Masters of Divinity degree from Virginia Union University Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology.
My family came to offer support!!
Along with several church members!
I still don't think it's hit either of us yet that after three long yrs he's actually finished!
We went to Red Lobster to celebrate afterwards. Just the two of us!!
Ran into one of Marc's fellow classmates and ended up staying another hour and half talking to them about ministry!
Sunday was Mothers Day and I spoke about still having hope in the midst of your storms!!

Afterwards we went to dinner with our girls and then Marc and I went to visit my aunt and uncle. Mom and Cori spent the day together but I wasn't able to travel home because we also ended up attending the memorial service of a close friends father.
Definitely the highlight of my weekend was hearing Marc's name called to receive his diploma. So proud of this man! As of right now he hasn't made plans to start earning his phd but I give it a year and he will be back in the saddle again!
