Wedding Rehearsal

Friday did not start as planned (a pre curser to the weekend it would seem). But after packing up my girlfriends van and our car we finally got on the road. My motto for the weekend would become "I am not in control"! I knew how much work lay ahead so I was anxious to get there to get to work. Of course I learned this weekend that my plans were not everyone's else plan so my very organized schedule went completely out the window! It didn't help that the day seemed to get longer and longer (and that at least in my eyes , and that of the bride nothing seemed to be going right) !! But we finally made it out to the wedding venue Friday afternoon after a few minor hick ups.

The staff at the Gloucester Institute went above and beyond the call of duty and their kindness and they way they made us feel as if the compound was actually our home for the weekend will forever be remembered!

The bride to be arriving!

The Grooms brother Bert.

The groom relaxing while waiting for the rehearsal to start!

The venue and the tent set up for the big day! Little did we know how much of a blessing it would be to have this very large tent at our disposal!

Several wedding party members were delayed so we actually ended up eating beforehand. I can honestly say we have never done a rehearsal in the dark until this past weekend!! lol

Someone else who went above and beyond the call of duty was my BFF Teresa! I don't know what I would have done without this woman this weekend! With all the work she had to do over the weekend she offered to prepare the rehearsal dinner.

After rehearsal most everyone else scattered to the nearest store for some last minute items or went to their home/rooms for the night. lol

For my mom, Teresa and I the night had just begun!

We ended up staying up until around 3 am prepping for the next day! In the end all of the work, sweat and tears paid off though!
