Guest Bloggers

I learned a valuable lesson last month while studying to speak before the women at WABC and especially after my experience at the Armed and Dangerous Retreat. I'm not in this thing alone! There are ladies out there who understand exactly what it means to be me! And not only have they gone through some of the same things I have, but in many cases some are going through some of the same things I'm going through right at this very moment! I also learned how important it is not to judge a book (or in this case a church) by its cover! We may come from different backgrounds, different denominations...some of us are in youth ministry, some of us senior pastor wives, some of us are campus pastor wives, some of us are transitioning churches, some of us are planting churches....but most if not all of us want the same thing. We want to see lives changed, we want to see those who are hurting healed, we want to find some type of balance when it comes to our family and ministry. We have good days and bad days just like everyone else. There are days we love our life and the ministry in which we lead and some days we don't.

I also learned the importance of connecting with women who understand you, who get who you are, and are willing to offer advice and support when and if you ask for it. I also learned how many friends I had out there when I asked nine really special women if they would be willing to be guest bloggers here. All nine ladies said yes, with very little or no hesitation! Starting tomorrow and every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of June several women, with diverse backgrounds in leadership will be featured here on my blog. I asked each of them to write whatever God placed on their hearts to speak about.,,,and I'm so excited to hear what they have to say and hope that you will enjoy it also!
